EA has released a statement regarding the poor performance users are experiencing with the new STAR WARS JEDI: Survivor game.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launched last week and unfortunately it has seen serious performance issues even for users in the top end of hardware specs leading the game to receive Mostly Negative reviews on Steam which as of today sits at Mixed. Due to these problems EA has released a statement which can be read below.
From what I can gather from this statement, the blame is being placed on Windows 10 when paired with the latest CPUs which are designed for Windows 11 which has been supposedly causing the unexpected frame loss. The team behind the game further state that they are committed to finding the fixes for all of these issues which as far as I’m concerned, should’ve been done before the game was released but that’s just Witchcraft to most of these triple-A game publishers.
As customers, we should be doing more and stop letting these developers sell us these half-baked games. Doing so is the simple task of not pre-ordering games so you can see whether the game actually functions as it should.
