ECS has been producing some incredibly compact PCs with their Liva series for the past few years. They have the Liva Z with Apollo Lake at Computex 2017 for example. Now they are pushing the boundaries of compact computing even further with their new Liva Q. According to the company, it is the world’s smallest 4K pocket PC. Measuring just 70 x 70 x 31.4mm and weighing only 260 grams, it is easy to see why. It is practically the same size as a standard desktop mouse.
Despite the compact size, each Liva Q is available with either Intel Pentium N4200 or Celeron N3350 Apollo Lake SoCs. It is also available with either 2GB or 4GB LPDDR4 with either 32GB or 64GB eMMC storage. It has a built-in Intel WiFi 802.11ac with Bluetooth 4.1 as well as one Gigabit LAN port for network connectivity. In terms of expansion ports, one MicroSD slot is available supporting up to 128GB of storage. Plus, it has one USB 2.0 port and one USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A port. In terms of video output, there is one HDMI port available supporting up to 60fps 4K resolutions.
Each Liva Q comes with a power adapter, a quick guide, driver DVD and a VESA bracket supporting 75mm and 100mm standards.
