EK AIO Elite 360 D-RGB CPU Cooler Review

Exterior Packaging

EK has clearly decided to take the clean approach to the presentation, with the predominantly white packaging. Contrasting this against the huge main image of the cooler to the front of the box, with all that D-RGB lighting in action, this is definitely eye-catching and, at least in my view, indicative of a quality product that is capable of speaking for itself.

The rear goes into all of the key features and specifications of the EK AIO Elite 360 D-RGB which, although not the best utilisation of all the space available, tells you everything you could possibly want to know about this AIO and in surprisingly good detail. It’s sleek and a little understated, but overall I think EK has done an excellent job with both the presentation and information provided here.

In a point we don’t raise too often here during product reviews, we feel compelled to mention that the quality of the internal packaging is truly excellent. Everything is wrapped within sealed packages (each coming with an EK stamp of approval) while all encased by a high-quality foam divider that has been cut out to tightly secure all of the key components. While some might consider this a rather bizarre or incidental point to make, good quality packaging is nearly always indicative of a good quality component. And more so, a manufacturer who actually cares that it reaches you in 100% perfectly pristine condition!

Accessories!

Starting with the product manual, although we will go into greater detail regarding most of the accessories in the ‘installation’ portion of this review (so keep reading!), while not the fanciest thing we have ever seen, it is still of decent quality and the information provided to you within in excellent both in terms of keeping it simple, but also providing you with the right amount of detail for those more intricate aspects of AIO design.

Depending on your CPU socket, pretty much all of the key individual components come in separate itemised packages. A great idea as this ensures that you only open those necessary for your particular motherboard/CPU while keeping those that you don’t need tidy enough in case you ever wish to reutilise this cooler on a new future system build.

In something that I was exceptionally grateful to find, EK provides you with a hub controller that offers support for both the PWM fan connections and the DRGB cabling. As above, while we will go into further detail surrounding this component later in the view, I can briefly tell you two things. Firstly, not having this product would’ve been a personal disaster for me (so huge kudos to EK for providing one here). Secondly, this is without a doubt one of the best hub controllers I have ever seen!
