Would this be the start of a new generation of wireless gaming hardware? It certainly seems like it! EKSA recently announced the launch of their next-generation line of gaming headsets. They’re kicking things off with the high-end E910 5.8 GHz Wireless Gaming & Music Headset, and they claim that “nothing on the market even comes close to the features incorporated into this new headset.” That’s a pretty bold claim, and one I’m hoping they can back up, or they’ll look quite the fool.
Founded by hardcore gamers for hardcore gamers, the EKSA R&D Team spent two years researching the market and put together the best elements into their headsets. A company spokesperson explains, “Besides 7.1 surround sound gaming headset for immersive gaming audio (Especially for FPS games), we have also developed the ultralight gaming headset and the ENC headset with advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) algorithm & Deep Learning speech de-noising technology.”
So a lot of interesting things are going on, such as the 5.8 GHz wireless technology, which is a lot higher rate than the current market-dominating 2.4 GHz wireless technology, so it’ll be interesting to see what differences that brings to the performance, but it may be part of the “zero tangible latency” claim too.
Be sure to visit their site and check out their latest gaming headsets, drivers, and accessories. They do seem to be pushing to take things to the next level, not just in sound quality, but overall features and comfort too, so I look forwards to testing these out as soon as possible.
