EKWB Releases 140 and 280mm Slim Series Kits
Ron Perillo / 6 months ago
Slovenian water-cooling specialist EKWB is releasing two new additions for their Slim series kits. These include 140mm and 280mm EK-CoolStream SE radiators introduced recently on a ready-to-use package. These kits are ideal alternatives for all-in-one cooling systems since they are truly upgradeable. Plus, they are also compatible with EKWB’s standalone products should they choose to expand later on.
What is in each EKWB Slim Series Kit?
Aside from the CoolStream readiators, each kit comes with an KE-XRES 100 PSC-60 MX PWM pump-reservoir. Users can attach the included EK-Duraclear tubing from this pump via the EK-ACF fittings to the radiator to the EK-Supremacy MX UNI block. Naturally, the radiators are paired with black EK-Vardar EVO 140ER fans. Two for the 280mm version and one for the 140mm radiator.
A loop is not complete without coolants, so EKWB also includes an EK-CryoFuel Clear Concentrate at 100mL. Just to fully set the scene, they also throw in a 10cm long EK-Cable Y-splitter and EK-UNI Pump bracket for 140mm fans.
Pricing and Availability
Each kit is available directly via EK’s webshop or any of their worldwide partners. The 140mm slim radiator kit costs 239.06 EUR, while the 280mm kit costs 268.39 EUR with VAT. While this costs quite a bit more than AIOs, this is more for those who want to start a custom loop but have no idea where to start. More importantly, it is also for those who do not want to compromise on quality and upgrade options.
