Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows Reaches Impressive Sales Milestone
The Forsaken Hollows, the first paid expansion for Elden Ring: Nightreign, has achieved a major milestone just a few days after its release on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
According to an announcement posted on the official studio account, the DLC has surpassed two million copies sold. This impressive achievement came only two days after its launch on December 4. It’s worth noting that the expansion is also included with the Deluxe Edition of the base game.
New Content in The Forsaken Hollows
“The cumulative worldwide shipment volume of ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN: The Forsaken Hollows has exceeded 2 million units,” reads the message from FromSoftware. “To all the users who are playing this game, thank you very much. We hope you enjoy the new battles undertaken by the Nightfarers, and we look forward to your continued support.”
For those unfamiliar, The Forsaken Hollows is available for $15 and adds new content and challenges to the game. Among the highlights are two playable Duskborn characters — the Scholar and the Undertaker — along with two new bosses that appear at dawn on the third day. The expansion also introduces a shifting land system, which alters the map’s layout under specific conditions.
In other news, director Junya Ishizaki claims to have defeated all of the game’s bosses solo and without using any relics to encourage players that a solo run is achievable.
