Elden Ring Nightreign Update 1.01.3 Released and Detailed

Yesterday, FromSoftware released the latest patch for Elden Ring, Nightreign, which brings some quality of life changes and fixes some issues that have persisted since the game’s launch. Such as the bugs where the Demon Merchant would spawn near the Night’s Tide when the Demon Merchant curse event was encountered, or a bug where the amount of Runes needed to purchase Uncommon weapons from merchants was incorrect, and so many more.

Main Changes in Patch 1.01.3

These patch notes primarily address several bug fixes across various aspects of Elden Ring. Issues resolved include incorrect damage calculations with specific skills and weapons (Whirlwind, Ironeye’s “Marking,” Bolt of Gransax), unexpected Ultimate Art gauge filling, and improper application of the “Switching Weapons Adds an Affinity Attack” relic effect to bows and crossbows. Additionally, problems with Rune costs from merchants, player revival against Night bosses, and camera angles in certain multiplayer encounters have been rectified.

Further fixes include correcting a bug with the Demon Merchant’s spawn location, resolving an issue where lingering character phantoms weren’t appearing in Limveld, and adjusting the visibility of a skill effect. The patch also adds staff information to the game’s credits, rounding out a series of quality-of-life and stability improvements.
