Those of you who have been enjoying Elite: Dangerous will probably be glad to know that the developers have decided to reveal some new information regarding the game’s upcoming expansions. Even though it requires a bit of a learning curve, the game is still widely appreciated by space-sim fans, particularly since it includes a 1:1 scale open world galaxy based on the Milky Way. That being said, Elite: Dangerous is still being expanded, and its most recent standalone expansion is named Horizons. This full price stand alone includes planetary landings, ground vehicles, bases and many more interesting updates, and the good news for console gamers is that this expansion is scheduled to become available on Xbox One starting June 3.
Furthermore, Elite Dangerous: Horizons now costs $29.99 on all platforms, but gamers can also pay $59.99 for the main game and a stack of DLC. However, the most important news is actually related to the title’s upcoming expansion, which is named The Engineers and is scheduled to arrive on PC on May 26. Apparently, The Engineers will represent the game’s biggest free update so far, and finding out about it kind of makes me want to reinstall Elite: Dangerous and give it another try.
Are you looking forward to these upcoming Elite: Dangerous changes?
