Enermax announces the DreamBass, an innovative USB sound solution

Enermax has officially announced its first audio product: DreamBass.
The company has mainly been influenced in the making of this product by two factors: the increase in portable computers to use badly balanced integrated audio chips and the growth of the relevance of bass in music.
It’s ‘thanks’ to these two that Enermax presents the DreamBass, a portable sound amplifier that delivers what few notebooks and netbooks offer. Providing clear sounds and deep bass tones, the DreamBass is an affordable and compact solution for all music lovers who want to bring the best of their music along with them.
Connected through USB, the vacuum tube-shape device is fitted with a powerful VIA sound chip (VT1620A). Ensuring better sound balance as well as acting as a bass boost, the DreamBass features connection for both microphone-in and headphone-out. Additionally its two-channel audio chip allows for the support of simultaneous recording and playback. No installation is required either, the computer will automatically detect the device on its own.
Now available, the DreamBass Genie (AP001) is priced at £23.90. Further more, Enermax is also offering a set of DreamBass with light-weight and clear-sound earphones (AP001E) for £30.90.
For the most curious ones, Enermax will be demonstrating the DreamBass at CeBIT next month.
