Compared to Asetek and CoolIT equivalents, it strikes me that the pump is actually quite tall. Hopefully this means more power and water-flow. You can see that Enermax have opted for the ribbed plastic tubing, not a favourite of mine as I think the rubber tubing is much more flexible and durable.
The provided radiator is 32mm thick compared to the normal 27mm we see on most Asetek and CoolIT radiators. In theory a thicker radiator gives better cooling performance.
The provided pump doesn’t mess around with any LEDs, it is totally plain with the Enermax logo perched at the top.
The base comes with some pre applied thermal compound and has a 4 pin pump connector plus two female 4 pin connections to control up to two fans, both of which are supplied with the cooler as standard.
The provided fans have been designed to favour static pressure which should be good for the 32mm thick radiator provided.
They feature LED strip lighting on the frame. On the left fan you can also see the yellow, blue and orange markers with a switch at the top. This allows you to pick between silent, performance and overclock modes. This changes the maximum fan speed between 1500, 1800 and 2200 RPM respectively.
With the fans fitted you can see the unit is quite wide, measuring in at 82mm – but this should be okay for most people as it should get installed at the rear of the case where there is normally ample room. One thing I noticed when installing the fans is that if you over-tighten them, the corners start to bend inwards so be sure not to over-tighten them too much or you could damage something.
