Enermax has today launched their latest product, the Fulmo case series, presenting themselves in three models, the Fulmo Basic,Fulmo Advance and the Fulmo GT.
Between the Fulmo Basic and the Advance, you won’t find an excessive amount of differences, they both have the same design, the same size and weight and the same motherboard support, that is Micro ATX and ATX.
The difference is in the details, starting at the front with the I/O ports of one USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 and the usual Audio and microphone for the Basic, while the Advance features an extra USB 3.0.
Cooling wise, they both feature 5 liquid cooling holes although the Basic supports up to 14 fans with three 120mm fans included while the advanced comes with one 180mm and four 120mm and supports up to 10 fans.
VGA clearance is 410m while the expansion slots are of eight for both the Basic and Advanced. Drive bays for both are also identical, that is four 5.25”, six internal 3.5”, four of which can be converted to hold six 2.5”.
The Fulmo GT, on the other hand, is the enthusiast and gamers partner, right from the start, the VGA clearance jumps to 425mm and the maximum fan supported is up to 20. With the GT being bigger than its Basic counterpart, it can now can hold on to Micro ATX, ATX as well as HPTX motherboard formats. Moreover, you’ll now be able to fit two PSUs inside the GT.
I/O ports gain in connectivity and speed, a total of four USB 3.0 can be found along an eSATA and the usual Audio and microphone. Drive bays gain in number as well with four 5.25” and ten 3.5” all of which can be converted to hold 2.5” drives.
On the back you’ll find ten expansion slots and seven liquid cooling holes and you can fit a radiator up to 420mm long. The included fans are one 230mm, two 180mm and one 140mm.
Obviously, being from Enermax, you’ll be granted the famous Vegas fans, including the 180mm. All the fans can be controlled from a fan LED control and speed control that can be found on top of all three models, making all those fans spin at your will.
Obviously, the differences don’t come without a price: The Fulmo Basic and Fulmo Advance are priced at $89 and $109 respectively while the Fulmo GT make you pay for its extra at $229.
