There is a very strange twitter account cropped up recently that has begun retelling the entire story of the movie Top Gun. It’s using one screen grab at a time to tweet the entire film out slowly, so much so that the first screen was just an all black image. It started on the 23rd of January and we’re barely through the first scene.

We’ve had the credits roll, and fortunately the dialogue is subtitled into the images, but with one screengrab being posted every 30 minutes it’s going to take a fair time to get through the movie.

This is one of the coolest novelty accounts I’ve seen in a while and while it may have less than 1000 followers, we suspect that will soon change.

Thank you Mashable for providing us with this information.
