Following yesterday’s launch of AMD’s eagerly awaited Ryzen CPUs, we now know the entire lineup of the new processor family, ranging from the top-end Ryzen 7 1800X to the entry-level Ryzen 3 1100. Thanks to OCaholic, the price of every Ryzen model – in US Dollars – has been revealed. It seems that the R7 1800X will be half the price of its nearest Intel rival, the Core i7-6900K, despite claims from AMD that the CPU will be the best-performing eight-core desktop processor.

The Ryzen lineup looks set to be AMD’s ticket for it to snatch a huge chunk of the CPU market share back from Intel, to which it has been trailing for years. Either way, this new generation of AMD processors – four years in the making – is sure to shake up the PC market upon its release.
AMD’s Ryzen CPUs will hit stores on 3rd March.
