Epic Games have been pushing Unreal Engine 4 hard this year and the game engine is quickly establishing its self as a graphical powerhouse. During this years GDC, Epic showed off their latest UE4 demonstration, an incredible real-time open-world environment, known as Kite Tech Demo, which clocks in at a staggering 100 square miles.
Epic’s own Francois Antoine showcased a range of weather effects, a day/night cycle and more to show off the engines impressive lighting and shadows, AI animals that react to the players and a whole lot more.
