The debate over how much VRAM is needed in this day and age is ongoing and further adding fuel to that fire is the 4060 and 4060 Ti which appear to have been confirmed by PC retailers to feature 8GB of VRAM in MSI pre-built listings.

8GB VRAM Confirmed By MSI Pre-Built

Shared by VideoCardz, a Dutch e-tailer by the name of 2Compute has made listings for an MSI MAG Infinite S3 system featuring the RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti paired up with just 8GB of VRAM which has been rumoured for a while. These postings all but confirm the rumours surrounding the VRAM of these GPUs which have sparked a lot of debate within the community as of late.

Any Further Information?

These listings unfortunately do not feature any indication of a release date nor pricing but they do tell us that MSI is planning to release Infinite S3 gaming prebuilt with both 4060 models upon the official release of the cards. The RTX 4060 and Ti variant are currently rumoured for a May launch so it likely isn’t long before we see them on the shelves and they can throw more fire into the VRAM debate.

What do you think of the 8GB VRAM in these cards? let us know in the comments.
