Even More Games Get NVIDIA DLSS
It is another busy week for NVIDIA, as several high-profile titles are getting the RTX treatment. From the demon-slaying action of Nioh 3 to the high-octane carnage of Carmageddon: Rogue Shift, GeForce RTX players have plenty of performance-boosting tech to play with this weekend.
Nioh 3
KOEI TECMO’s dark samurai saga returns today, 6th February. Nioh 3 shifts the series into an open-field environment, allowing players to explore Japan’s chaotic Warring States period with more freedom than ever. You will take on the role of a young samurai destined for greatness, switching between Ninja and Samurai combat styles to take down terrifying yokai.
For those on PC, the game arrives with full support for DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation. If you aren’t ready to commit to the full purchase just yet, a demo is currently available, and any progress you make will carry over to the final game.
Key Features
- Open World Exploration: A shift from mission-based levels to an expansive open field.
- Combat Variety: Seamlessly switch between Samurai and Ninja styles.
- Historical Time Travel: Journey through various turbulent periods in Japanese history.
- Performance Boost: DLSS 4 support available from day one.
Sea of Remnants
NetEase Games and Joker Studio have opened the doors to their “Wanderer Test” a PC Closed Alpha for Sea of Remnants. Running from 5th February to 12th February, this visually striking title puts you in the shoes of a “puppet-like” sailor.
This alpha is a technical showcase, featuring both Path Tracing and DLSS 4. Players can customise modular ships and interact with a massive cast of over 300 characters in a world that reacts to every decision they make.
Vampires: Bloodlord Rising
If you prefer the gothic life, Vampires: Bloodlord Rising is now available in Early Access. Developed by Mehuman Games, this title lets you build a custom castle, hunt for blood, and even shapeshift into a bat to dodge the Inquisition.
RTX users can take advantage of DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation. Additionally, those using the NVIDIA app can upgrade to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution for even better image quality.
Carmageddon: Rogue Shift
The legendary franchise is back, but with a twist. Carmageddon: Rogue Shift reimagines the series as a roguelite set in a post-apocalyptic 2050. You’ll start with a “rust bucket” and fight your way through rival gangs to secure upgrades.
Launching on 6th February, the game supports DLSS Super Resolution and DLAA. Much like the other titles this week, you can also use the NVIDIA app to override the standard settings to DLSS 4.5.
Nightmare Frontier
Finally, Nightmare Frontier is out now in Early Access. This “Tactical Extraction Looter” is set in an alternative 1900s American landscape. It’s a game of high stakes as you lead scavengers against the Dreadweavers to reclaim a ruined town. The game supports DLSS Super Resolution and DLAA to help keep those frame rates high during intense firefights.
