Evercool have today unveiled a new CPU cooler for the newbies of computer building without letting down the performance factor of the product with the Transformers S.
Measuring 130x161x78.5 mm and weighing around 630 g, it’s neither to big, nor to small, it’s just what you need just to get you started.
The high density aluminium fins through which pass two 8 mm copper heat-pipes connected to the base with the direct contact technology will ensure an efficient cooling for all your basic computer tasks.
Ventilated by a 120mm fan with “Ever Lubricated” bearing, as well as PWM control for rotations ranging from 800 to 2,200 RPM and the rated noise ratio under 35 dBA, the Transformers S is both efficient as it is quiet.
The installation features the same procedure as the Intel stock cooler with the push-pins pre-fitted allowing for quick and easy installation. Supported socket include Intel LGA 1366/1155/1156/775 (adjustable) as well as an AMD mounting kit.
A promotional video has also been released by Evercool to present the Transformer S:
(Sure a little exaggerated, but it’s rather original compared to the usual)
