Evercool Venti (HPQ 12025) CPU Cooler Review

The front of the Evercool Venti is dominated by the included 120mm fan which uses a simple black and white design that is very neutral.

From the side we get a rough view at home thick the heatsink is. To me, it looks almost like a direct competitor to NZXT’s Respire T20. That said, we can still see the fins are actually densely packed in so there is still potentially for some beefy performance.

The back gives us a closer look at just how dense the construction of this unit is, something quite surprising for a $30 cooler.

From the top you can see that the Evercool Venti uses four 6mm heatpipes for heat dissipation. This, in heat-pipe-terms anyway, puts it alongside Cooler Master’s Hyper 412 Slim, except with only a single fan.

The base appears excellent quality and the gaps between the heatpipes are very minimal and nearly entirely smooth which should be excellent for picking up and moving heat.

The fan cable was a bit of a let down, the multi-coloured cables really stand out and ruin the design a fair amount. Although, the inclusion of a 4pin PWM fan is still excellent to see on a budget cooler.
