The EVGA Geforce GTX 780 Hydro Copper series has been officially announced and with it comes two brand new GTX 780. The first is a standard water cooled GTX 780 Hydro copper and then we have a special edition called the GTX 780 Classified Hydro Copper.
Unfortunately EVGA have only spilled the beans on the standard GTX 780 Hydro Copper and we’ve no idea of the official specifications of the Classified Edition, although it would be a safe bet to assume is has some less modest overclocks applied, especially given that it draws it power from 8+8 pin PCIe power connections, yikes!
The GTX 780 Hydro Copper features 2304 CUDA cores, 3GB of GDDR5 memory, 780MHz base clock, 1033MHz boost clock, while the GDDR5 memory clocks in at 6008MHz and runs off of a 384 bit memory interface, making for a very exciting and powerful graphics card that should offer up some impressive cooling capabilities.
With a full cover water block on each card design, as well as swappable inlet / outlets, chrome plated C110 copper construction, custom compression 3/8″ and 1/” fittings and a customisable glowing EVGA logo, it’s safe to say that the Hydro Copper range is well equipped.
The cards are not yet ready to purchase, but the standard is listed at an eye watering $799.99.
