EVGA Have Listed 3 New GTX 1080 Ti Cards

Steadily moving on from Founders Edition cards of the 1080 Ti, EVGA has listed 3 new GTX 1080 Ti cards on their website and listed their specs along with them. Let’s take a look!

The first card is the EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3 Gaming, which boasts a 1596/1683 (boost) clock, compared to the 1480/1582 clock of the Founders Edition. It also features an extra bios chip and RGB LED. Most other specs stay the same, however, the power requirements have increased and will require 2×8 pin connections, a slight increase from the 8+6 pin of the Founders Edition.

The cooling solution has also moved on from the blower design, and instead uses a 3 fan configuration, hopefully we won’t see the same fire issues with saw with the GTX 1080! The site does not list a power draw figure, but they do state you will need a minimum 600w PSU.

Next up is the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition. This card has clock speeds of 1556/1670, again a slight increase over the Founders Edition, but less than the 1080 Ti FTW3. Power requirements stay the same as the Founders Edition and once again they’ve replaced the blower cooler, this time with a dual fan configuration. Power draw is listed as 250w and recommends a 600w PSU. The Logo is lit up with a white LED.

Finally, we have the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2. The listed specs are identical to that of the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition, with the only noticeable difference being the colour of the shroud. For this card they have gone with silver, giving potential customers a little more choice to match their rigs.

The launch date and prices of these 3 new cards are yet to be announced, but we will keep you posted as soon as that information is available.

Are you going to be picking up a custom GTX 1080 Ti or have you already bought a new card recently? What card have you gone for, or which one do you plan to get in the future?
