Voltage Regulation
Straight away, the first impressions of this power supplies performance are very good indeed. The voltage regulation is well within a reasonable tolerance. What’s most impressive is how consistent the average deviance is from 20% all the way up to 100%. They’re easily some of the best figures we’ve ever seen from any PSU and gives me a lot of confidence in the build quality.
Power Efficiency
While this unit is rated at 80 Plus Gold, it’s just 1% off being a Platinum rated unit! It scored 91/93/91% while Gold only needs 88/92/88. This is an exceptional result and means you’re getting very good value for money in terms of efficiency.
Power Factor Correction
Superb results here too, with PFC scoring very highly at 20, 60, 80 and 100% loads. It’s a little lower at 40%, but not by much, and still some of the best results you could hope for in this price range/power output.
