Test Setup
We are always interested in new technology, and more importantly, the way that it compares to other products on the market, but with a webcam, it’s not exactly something you can benchmark. It’s also very hard to explain, other than stating what you’d want to know about a product of this nature, and that’s the quality.
Due to this being a HD webcam, we are expecting a higher resolution and a lot more clarity in comparison to something like an integrated webcam that you’d typically find built-in to a notebook.
When comparing to other desktop webcams, it’s once again a hard task due to the lower end webcams seeming to be a thing of the past, but we will as always, try to explain it as best we can.
For the purposes of continuity, here is a brief overview of our test system which clearly shows the latest components being used and with this webcam using a simple USB interface, it’s perfect for any system with a spare port.
