Far Cry 4 is almost here and while we await the games final release date, there is just enough time to make sure your gaming rig is capable of running it, as the game’s specifications have just been revealed by Nvidia.
You’ll be wanting to run the game on a minimum of an Intel i5-750 / AMD Phenom II X4 955, with 4GB of RAM and around 30GB of hard drive space. The game only supports DirectX 11, so your graphics card will likely have to be compliant with that specification as a bare minimum, although that’s pretty much every card of the last five years.
Kicking things up to the recommended specifications will require some pretty sizable hardware. An Intel Core i5 or AMD FX-8350, 8GB of RAM and most importantly, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon R9 290X or better, with at least 2GB of VRAM.
