Far Cry 5 System Requirements List GTX 1080 SLI for 4K 60FPS

Ubisoft has released the full system requirements list for their upcoming Far Cry 5 game. The latest installment of the Far Cry series still uses the latest in-house Dunia engine and features a lot of wide open-world spaces to explore. Set in rural Montana, players are facing off against a doomsday cult that is armed to the teeth. Naturally, you fight fire with fire, so you have access to a lot of ammunition as well. Thankfully, you can enlist the help of fellow second amendment lovers, as well as bears, mountain lions and other animals. To fully experience the game at 1920 x 1080 at 30fps and even 60fps, it does not require much. However, it is a completely different story if you want to push 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD) at 60fps.

Video Card Support

Aside from the system requirements list, Ubisoft also openly lists which video cards are require to run the game. Users must have at least a 600-series NVIDIA GeForce series or a 200-series AMD Radeon to play the game. Considering the 600-series GeForce cards came out in 2012, these requirements seem fair.

Supported NVIDIA GeForce cards at time of release:

  • GTX900 series: GeForce GTX950 or better
