Far Cry 5 Will Allow You to Co-op Multiplayer Every Single Mission

Far Cry 5 will allow you to play with your friend from start to finish
The Far Cry series, as far as modern gaming goes, is pretty decent. There have certainly been stronger entries (Far Cry 3) and weaker entries (Primal), however, overall and surprisingly for a Ubisoft title, the franchise has managed to resist the ‘shovelware’ of other equally popular series.
There are of course reasons for this, one of which clearly is the large open play maps which are available. The maps are large and detailed and make exploration a genuinely enjoyable factor of most of the games. The announcement trailer for Far Cry 5 also revealed an excellent new direction for the series.
One of the more popular recent additions to the franchise, however, has been the ability to play the single-player campaign with other people. This was a feature in both Far Cry 4 and Primal, however, was implemented in a somewhat limited fashion.
Ubisoft has said, however, in an announcement via PCGamesN, that you will be able to play the game campaign from start to finish with a friend if you wish. This isn’t even limited to a specific area, you both have access to the full map. Hope County won’t know what hit it!
A very American setting
The new Far Cry is set to be featured in middle America. A religious cult (and presumably battling against) will be the main focus of the gameplay. It would also appear that a lot of work is going into Far Cry 5. Initially the release was planned before the end of this year, however, it has since been pushed back to early 2018. Something I daresay most of us can live with if it equals a polished product. Something, in fairness, Ubisoft isn’t renowned for.
The sad news. Far Cry 5 is set for release on February 27th, 2018 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
