How Much Does It Cost?

Overview

Overall, it seems like Ubisoft has stunned us with a well made game. Not only does it look visually stunning, but it can do so on just about any of the recent generation cards.

What Resolution?

Well, if you’re a 1080p gamer, I think anything from a 660 Ti, RX 480 will have you gaming at high settings all day long. Plus, you’ll see 60 FPS nicely enough, assuming your CPU isn’t some one-core dinosaur from 1995.

The same is true at 1440p, with the GTX 1060 and RX 580 proving very playable in the mid 50 FPS range. But even at high settings, any last gen card seems to have the grunt to deliver the goods here.

4K!

This game looks fantastic at 4K, that’s for sure. To break that lovely 60 FPS window though, you’ll be looking at a 1080 Ti from last gen, or an RTX-class card to hit high settings.

However, a 1070 Ti or VEGA 64 will do the job at medium settings. Personally, I found running the game at 4K with Ultra settings and 70% scaling provided huge frame rates, stunning graphics, and a resolution that’s actually above that of 1440p.

70% of 4K works out at 2688 x 1512, which is higher than 2560 x 1440p (2K) resolution, but now quite the full 2880 x 1620 of what would be 3K.
