First Patch for The Elder Scrolls IV Remaster Released

It’s been nearly a month and a half since Bethesda shadowdropped The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster, in which the game came out to huge acclaim from long-time fans of the previous game and newcomers alike. Now, after quite a while, Bethesda has just released the first post-launch patch for the game, which it really needs as it attempts to fix the game’s problematic crashing issue, which has been wreaking havoc on the game for some time and caused its reviews to take a pretty big hit.
Patch 1.1
As mentioned before, the primary focus of the patch does seem to be targeted towards the game’s crashing issue, one of the most notable ones is the fix to crashes after quicksaves. Alongside the crashing fixes, the patch also helps to change other bugs that have arisen since the game’s launch, such as some UI bugs, gameplay bugs, and system issues, which caused players’ games to freeze when alt tabbing, infinite loading issues, to name a few.
There have also been some bug fixes for quests, which as the one from A Knife in the Dark, which caused Vincente Valtieri to lose his hair. Or the Sunken One, where one of the diary pages would be hidden under a bowl.
