Forza Horizon 5 PC Requirements Confirmed

Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 is set for release on November 5th and undoubtedly represents a hugely anticipated gaming title for many. Admittedly, while I enjoy the franchise itself, it’s often largely only to purchase every single Jaguar the game has and then decorate them in an entirely inappropriate assault on the senses. However, if you are looking forward to playing this on your PC, you might be wondering if your system has the necessary horsepower. – Well, following an official post on the Forza Horizon 5 blog website, we now have the full and confirmed PC requirements!

Forza Horizon 5 – PC Requirements!

As per the image below, the official requirements are certainly more than a little unusual as they have been broken down into three categories. The two self-explanatory ‘minimum’ and ‘recommended’, and then the somewhat unusual ‘ideal’. What does this latter one mean though? Well, in a nutshell, although not officially cited, we think this is very likely the level of hardware required to get a smooth experience with the ray-tracing enabled. As such, it’s no surprise to find that the ‘ideal’ specs are exceptionally lofty.

On the plus side, however, the recommended specs are quite notably low. A factor that gives you an even better idea as to how the minimum hard requirements firmly reside in ‘Potato’ country. Put simply, if you have a gaming PC that was built within the last 5-7 years, you’re probably going to be able to run this!

What Do We Think?

I will freely admit that for a game that always lays an exceptionally thick layer of graphical gloss the minimum requirements here, and even the recommended, are so, relatively speaking, surprisingly low. Admittedly, things will clearly be taken to a whole new level if you can just about pass muster for those ‘Ideal’ specs. With Forza Horizon 5 set to release in around 6 weeks (available on PC both as a digital purchase and via Xbox Game Pass), however, the good news is that for most of you, you should (probably) easily be able to take this title out for a spin!
