Forza Horizon 6 PC Requirements Revealed
Microsoft has officially presented Forza Horizon 6 and revealed its system requirements. This new installment in the popular racing series will take players to Japan, offering an entirely fresh environment and improved visuals.
One major difference between Forza Horizon 6 and its predecessor is that it will not be released for Xbox One. Instead, it will only be available on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC. A PlayStation 5 version will follow later. This shift marks the end of support for last-generation consoles, allowing the developers to focus on higher graphical fidelity and performance.
Minimum System Requirements
According to Microsoft, the minimum PC requirements for Forza Horizon 6 have increased compared to the previous title. The game demands more modern hardware to handle its advanced visuals and larger open world.
- OS: Windows 10 22H2 (version 19045) or higher
- Processor: Intel i5-8400 OR AMD Ryzen 5 1600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1650 OR AMD RX 6500 XT OR Intel Arc A380 / Arc B390
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Additional Notes: SSD Required
Microsoft has not yet confirmed the official recommended requirements, but estimates suggest that a PC comparable to the Xbox Series X will deliver the best experience. A setup including an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-8700K, 16 GB RAM, and a GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER or Radeon RX 6700 should meet these standards.
Forza Horizon 6 will launch on May 19, 2026, for Xbox and PC via Steam.
