Fractal Design Adds Tempered Glass Options for Define Series

Fractal Design‘s Define chassis series is extremely popular for providing an excellent value and performance. It is also one of the earliest case series to provide extensive liquid-cooling support in a regular mid-tower form-factor. Now the Define Series is slightly getting an aesthetic upgrade with the release of the new Define C TG series enclosures.

TG stands for Tempered Glass, which both cases are equipped with. This gives users with fancy or modded hardware to show-off their builds in style. Two options are available: the Define Mini C TG and the Define C TG.

The Define Mini C TG supports micro-ATX and mini-ITX mainboards. It has plenty of clearance for CPU coolers up to 172mm tall however, and even supports 240mm radiators at the top and front. The left side has clear tempered glass panels while the right side has noise-dampening material lining the steel panel.

There are five PCIe expansion slots available with removable covers and there is also a built-in PSU shroud. There is room for up to to 3.5″ drives in the bottom HDD cage, which also supports 2.5″ drives.

The larger Define C TG supports ATX motherboard sizes and also shares the same options as the Define Mini C TG. This includes the moduvent panels, the same 172mm CPU cooler height clearance and dual 3.5″ drive support. Due to the taller size however, users can mount radiators up to 360mm long in the front. There are also more PCIe expansion slots available at seven (which is standard for a mid-tower case).

Pricing Information

The Fractal Design Define Mini C TG carries an MSRP of only $89.99 USD. Meanwhile, the larger Define C TG, only costs a bit more at $94.99 USD.
