Fractal Design have announced two new upgrade kits to replace the ports on the Define R3 and Define XL with USB 3.0 ports, the process involves removing the front panel and taking off the USB block attached, on both models they are just held in place by two screws.
The Define R3 kit transforms the existing double USB 2.0 and eSata ports to two USB 3.0 and an eSata port, the package contains:
