Acoustic Performance
Unlike the Chillblast Fusion Wolf 2, the system is exceptionally quiet under load and the fan curve only increases by a tiny amount compared to idle scenario scenarios. This creates a joyous user-experience and it’s much quieter than I expected.
Power Consumption
Despite having some of the most powerful components on the market, the system hardly consumes any power and remains under 300 watts during stressful benchmarks.
Thermal Performance
The machine’s overclocked i7-6700K hit a maximum temperature of 73C and recorded a 71C average. This is a wonderful result given the noise output and boosted frequency which requires higher voltages. On another note, the GTX 1080 Founders Edition ran remarkably cool and fared much better than the Chillblast Fusion Wolf 2’s version due to the extra airflow around the chassis.
