G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 32GB (16GBx2) 6800 MHz Review

G.Skill is well known for having some of the fastest and best high-performance memory in the world. They’ve held plenty of memory overclocking world records over the years and have certainly been a popular choice for other hardware overclocking records too. While maybe not world-record-setting, the kit I have today is certainly very fast, with some tasty DDR5 6800 MHz XMP settings. However, it also comes with some low latency timings of CL34-45-45-108 at 1.40V so I’m expecting some pretty killer performance from it today, as it’s one of the fastest we’ve tested to date.

G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB

The Trident Z5 RGB series DDR5 memory is designed for ultra-high performance on DDR5 platforms. Featuring a sleek and streamlined aluminium heat spreader design, available in metallic silver or matte black to suit your taste. G.Skill hand screen the DDR5 DRAM ICs, ensuring they deliver you the best modules, such as the 6800 MHz I’m testing today.

What G.Skill Had to Say

“G.SKILL is dedicated to developing performance overclocked memory kits. Developed and optimized on the Intel Core platform, Trident Z5 RGB taps into the speed potential of DDR5 to bring a whole new level of performance to worldwide overclockers and PC enthusiasts. Designed with a streamlined light bar, the Trident Z5 RGB looks sleeker than ever. Featuring customizable RGB lighting through the G.SKILL lighting control software or supported third-party motherboard software, personalizing the colours and lighting effects of the Trident Z5 RGB is a breeze.”
