Nvidia wants to celebrate PC gaming in style with their GAME24 event, and it is almost upon us. As we have learned the last couple of weeks, it is also more than likely that we will see the new flagship graphic card presented; the GeForce GTX 980.
The kick-off for this massive event is tonight at 1 AM GMT, with live streams and local events all around the world, and the following 24-hours will be a nerd bonanza. The local live event here in the U.K., is held in the Old Truman Brewery, London. There should still be a couple of spots left for those who haven’t secured theirs yet, but you better hurry. You can register for free on Nvidia’s sign-up page.
There will be live eSport tournaments, competitions and giveaways worth well over $50.000. Nvidia has also announced that they will break several gaming world records, most likely with their new graphics cards.
Another great, and unique, part of the event to look forward to, is the Mod24. A 24-hour modding-stream hosted by Linus and Luke, the first of its kind. The renowned modders Mongoose, BSMODS and Team Kill Ninja will each be building and modding a system, live from Nvidia’s headquarters. Viewers will then be able to judge the results before they are given away as prizes.
Nvidia is also said to be showing off never-before-seen PC gaming technologies and will conduct a long range of interviews with their partners, including but not limited to Epic, Ubisoft, Blizzard, Deep Silver and Red Bull.
We’ve been promised a lot more surprises than the few they have told us about so far. So don’t forget to tune into the live-stream, or attend the local event if you should be so lucky that one of them is in the same area as you.
