Gamescom: Konami games previewed

Another day and more game details are flooding out this time from Konami with a plethora of cross platform titles 17 of which are playable at their booth, heading their line-up is PES 2012, Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill.

PES 2012 is due for release on October 14th for PS3, Xbox360 and Windows PC with previews on the stand showing off the active AI and team mate control elements.

Silent Hill: Downpour could also be seen in 3D on PS3 and is coming to the shelves in November on PS3, Xbox360 also worth a mention here are the Silent Hill: HD Collection for PS3 and Silent Hill: Book Of Memories the first ever multiplayer for the franchise for PS Vita both of which are coming early 2012 .

Neverdead for PS3 and Xbox360 is coming this winter with an original track produced for the soundtrack by thrash metal legends Megadeath also titled “Never Dead” which will feature on their next album the game NeverDead begins with the world under threat from a demonic plague. Centuries have passed since the world succumbed to an unforeseen shadow of evil cast by the Demon King. Then, a man called Bryce Boltzman and his beloved wife dared stand up to him, but while his wife was killed, Bryce was cursed with eternal life. Now, as these demons rise once again in the present day and are wreaking unrelenting mayhem, Bryce Boltzman must once again make a stand.

The METAL GEAR SOLID series celebrates 25 years next year, METAL GEAR SOLID: SNAKE EATER 3D will be on the Nintendo 3DS, while the eagerly-awaited METAL GEAR SOLID: HD COLLECTION will be on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as will METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER. Both games will be released in the winter, with the HD COLLECTION also including new HD remastered versions of METAL GEAR SOLID 2: SONS OF LIBERTY and METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SNAKE EATER.

Also there are a number of Xbox Live Arcade releases such as the first XBLA Kinect game Leedmees, 2D fighter Skullgirls, Burgertime World Tour, Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour and hitting PS3 downloads are Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone and Castlevania: Harmony of Despair.
