PackagingThe front of the Icy Vision’s shell packaging indicates all of the supported graphics cards along with the key features of this cooler. Some extra advertising and the included accessories also make a sneaky appearance.
The rear of the shell again lists the compatible graphics cards. A graph and benchmark also shows the cooler’s performance compared to the stock heatsink of a GTX 480 graphics card.
Lots of RAM and VRM heatsinks are included allowing a wide variety of reference and non-reference design graphics cards to be supported. All of the metal mounting hardware is supplied. A Gelid case sticker, graphics card fan to molex and 3-pin case fan adapter and a tube of Gelid’s GC-2 thermal compound are also included.
A very thorough and lengthy looking installation manual talks us through procedures for installing the Icy Vision on an AMD/ATI and nVidia graphics card.
