Gaming Performance
While this is a gaming motherboard, it was never going to topple some of the titans that dominate our chart. Recently, we’ve tested extensive amounts of record breaking Z370 motherboards, but when it comes to the AMD chipsets, the AB350 can certainly maintain a good pace. It scored strong in Deus Ex, hitting 100.1 FPS, and 128.3 in Ghost Recon. Beyond that, we saw 164.5 in Rise of the Tomb Raider, and 100 in Far Cry. Again, not our fastest times, but for the “affordable” AM4 chipset, they’re right on the money.

I have owned mine almost since its release.
Before the next statement, let me be clear, I had to redo the thermal for the Chipset/VRM (#neverStock)
I don’t see this bad of performance difference (mind you, 1600x with RX 580, same RAM speed) when vs the same (or near same) config with other non mini-ITX B350 boards.
