Gigabyte AORUS Z270X-Gaming 7 LGA1151 Review

Storage Performance

Linear Read

The Gigabyte AORUS Z270X-Gaming 7 maintains an unbelievable M.2 rate and is the only Z270 product to surpass the 2670MB/s barrier. On another note, the SATA read speeds are great while the USB 3.0 rate deserves praise.

Linear Write

This time, the motherboard begins to struggle and the M.2 write has some sporadic drops, leading to a lower M.2 result. On a more positive note, the SATA write was excellent and the USB performance remained competitive.
