The Gigabyte AORUS Z270X-Gaming 9 maintains a wonderful M.2 read rate and doesn’t suffer from large dips. Additionally, the SATA read speeds were good but the USB 3.0 performance could be slightly better.
Linear Write
When running the linear write tests, the motherboard is able to deliver a stellar M.2 rate. Unfortunately, the SATA performance is a little underwhelming and towards the lower end. The USB 3.0 write speeds were the highest out of all the Z270 products.
