Gigabyte B75M-D3H Motherboard Sandy Bridge Review

In our preview of this board, which can be found here, we took a close look at the board, but neglected to mention the BIOS as we didn’t want to give it all away and instead will show you how things are looking on the B75M-D3H in this fully-fledged review instead.

The BIOS may be new for some of you, so we will try to break things down as best we can. The first screen you will see is the M.I.T section which gives all of your CPU and memory settings.

Though this board isn’t aimed at overclockers, you do have the choice of altering settings to as far as the stock voltages will allow you to go.

Advanced CPU core features allow you to adjust turbo frequencies and speed step technology.

Advanced memory settings allow you to set your XMP profile and tweak the memory settings.

You can also adjust the timings for your memory.

As this board isn’t focussed for overclocking, you won’t find much in terms of voltage options. The only settings you can adjust is the DRAM voltage.

You can also check your voltages, temperatures and fan speeds to make sure everything is running at ample levels.

Under the system settings, we find information relating to the board and the BIOS.

We can also find information and settings relating to the SATA ports on this board including hot plug functionality.

Under BIOS features, we find a lot of information regarding boot priorities as well as the ability to enable and disable Intel Virtualization Technology.

When we take a look at the Peripherals section, we find the ability to control USB, Audio and LAN functionality as well as Intel Smart Connect Technology.

Power management is nothing out of the ordinary with functionality for power on and wake up options.
