Getting the ball rolling with Cinebench R11.5, we can see that the Gigabyte board landed in the middle of our comparisons, falling just ahead of the MSI board that uses the same chipset.

When overclocked, the score boosted quite dramatically to 3.64 on the CPU score which is a great jump from its stock performance.

Super PI

Super PI is a computer program that calculates pi to a specified number of digits after the decimal point—up to a maximum of 32 million. It uses Gauss–Legendre algorithm and is a Windows port of the program used by Yasumasa Kanada in 1995 to compute pi to 232 digits.

Firing up Super Pi, the Gigabyte board again pitched ahead of the MSI equivalent, but still behind the lesser spec Asus A55 board. The overclock helped to shave off around 4 minutes in calculation time on the 32M preset from almost 26 minutes.
