Overclocking and Overclocked Performance
From experience with the reference GTX 980Ti, overclocking was fruitful, not only in raw MHz, but also performance. Let’s see if this card can pull off a similar feat.
Pushing the G1 Gaming 980Ti for all it has I managed to get a huge 1393MHz boost clock speed. Let’s find out how that transforms into performance increase.
3DMark Fire Strike
From factory, the G1 Gaming GTX 980Ti has some overclocking potential, but Gigabyte has pretty much tapped out everything. Given our overclock, the additional ‘free’ performance is great and it is noticed more at 4K than any other resolutions.
