Gigabyte’s UEFI BIOS that they equip with the G1 Sniper A88X motherboard isn’t exactly the best looking UEFI BIOS they’ve ever made, but it does get the job done. There are an extensive range of tweakable options which you can see below. From my brief usage with the BIOS the only thing that bugged me was the fact you cannot set a manual voltage, only voltage offsets. It is worth noting that when overclocking with this BIOS you have two routes to your overclock: 1) using the turbo mode to act as your overclock or 2) disabling turbo mode and going with a manual overclock – that’s what we did as we found the turbo ratio to be temperamental. Overall the BIOS is pretty solid and it has everything you’re going to need, updating it is pretty easy too and you can use Q-Flash or Gigabyte’s @BIOS from within Windows.
Below you can see screenshots of the entire BIOS and all its tabs and sub-sections.
