Gigabyte G1 Sniper Z87 (LGA 1150) Motherboard Review

BIOS

Without a doubt Gigabyte’s UEFI DualBIOS is one of the most attractive and visually pleasing motherboard UEFIs available on the market right now. Gigabyte have done a really nice job in presenting everything in a visually appealing way. However, they’ve also done a solid job of arranging all the various options into sensible categories and while simultaneously providing live CPU, memory and system status information around the side of the main option area so you can see your changes coming into effect. What’s more interesting though is that Gigabyte essentially lets you create your own BIOS tabbed sections so you can cluster together the features you use the most into one tab. Gigabyte’s UEFI DualBIOS is probably the best UEFI I’ve used and Gigabyte have really set the bar very high for other vendors to follow.
