Gigabyte GTX 660 Overclock 2GB Graphics Card Review

Mafia II is an older game and therefore it does have older graphics engines, however this is is still a good all-round in game benchmark that combines the terrain and explosion rendering of Crysis with the dust and dirt particle rendering test of Dirt 2. It also takes into account the changing light conditions albeit not in quite the same detail as the others, but none-the-less still proves a cards capabilities on slightly older games.

MafiaII as we know favours NVIDIA cards very well and we find here that the 660 and 660 Ti are neck and neck, the Ti only falling behind with a lower frame rate in surround conditions. Looking at the other cards, the GTX 670 is only a few frames ahead and the 7950, that’s been left far behind.
