Synthetic Benchmarks
PC Mark 8
In PC Mark 8, the Gigabyte P57X v6 achieves a respectable score and easily copes with light photo editing, video conferencing and a host of other essential desktop tasks. Even though the final result is near the bottom end, there’s hardly anything to choose between the laptop and a number of competing options. Therefore, a slightly improved run would allow the unit to dramatically rise up through the ranks.
3DMark
As expected, the product’s graphics card is able to output phenomenal performance numbers across a wide range of resolutions. The 3DMark scores are even more impressive when you consider how much of an improvement the new GTX 1070 provides compared to the previous generation, GTX 970M.
Never thought I’d see Gigabyte making laptops. I’ve had multiple Gigabyte motherboards though and they’ve always been good to me! I have to admit one thing I don’t like about this laptop is just how it looks. It reminds me of the old laptops we used back in high school. The specs are great but it just looks like it would be old and slow.
The specs are nice but don’t you think that it will run slow and won’t be able to consider as gaming laptop.
