With Nvidia expected to announce the formal launch of the 4090 graphics card later this month (September 20th just in case you didn’t know), we’ve already seen plenty of indications that AIB partners are already well set with their custom models. – For example, just yesterday we saw images of a custom 4090 from Zotac appear online.

Today, however, it’s apparently the turn of Gigabyte as following a report via Videocardz it seems that they’re not just ready for the 4090, but they might be possibly going a little overboard as 11 (yes, eleven) different models have just been registered with the EEC.

Gigabyte Registers 11 Different 4090 Models With the EEC

We should note, as we have done on many occasions in the past, that an EEC registration is no guarantee of an eventual consumer release. Products get registered all the time that never (officially at least) see the light of day. – Based on the names being mentioned, however, it does seem likely, if not certain, that Gigabyte is at least planning to release most of these models under their various sub-brands:

  • RTX 4090 AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE (GV-N4090AORUSX W-24GD)
  • RTX 4090 AORUS XTREME WATERBLOCK (GV-N4090AORUSX WB-24GD)
  • RTX 4090 AORUS XTREME (GV-N4090AORUS X-24GD)
  • RTX 4090 AORUS MASTER (GV-N4090AORUS M-24GD)
  • RTX 4090 AORUS ELITE (GV-N4090AORUS E-24GD)
  • RTX 4090 GAMING OC (GV-N4090GAMING OC-24GD)
  • RTX 4090 GAMING (GV-N4090GAMING-24GD)
  • RTX 4090 EAGLE OC (GV-N4090EAGLE OC-24GD)
  • RTX 4090 EAGLE (GV-N4090EAGLE-24GD)
  • RTX 4090 WINDFORCE 3X OC (GV-N4090WF3OC-24GD)
  • RTX 4090 WINDFORCE 3X (GV-N4090WF3-24GD)

With that being said though, once again, don’t expect all of these 4090 models from Gigabyte to hit the market. With the official launch seemingly less than a week away, however, we can surely expect a slew of press releases from all AIB partners confirming the news on their 4090 GPUs which we will, of course, keep you up to date on. After months of waiting though, not much longer to go now at all!
