Gigabyte RTX 5060 Aero 8GB Graphics Card Review
Gigabyte have an incredible range of graphics cards, from more affordable models such as the RTX 5060 we’re looking at today, to their incredible RTX 5090 INFINITY which we recently reviewed. At around £300-£350 the RTX 5060 is about 1/10th the cost of the current flagship cards, but it’s targeted at a different part of the market too. While it still features the latest NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, it’s focused on the mid-range market with the GeForce RTX 5060 AERO featuring 8GB of VRAM, it’s more focused on PC gamers who want high frame rates at 1080p and even 1440p depending on the titles you enjoy. For competitive gaming, eSports titles, and similar, you can still get high FPS, and features like DLSS 4 frame generation technology will help take that even further.
Features
The visual appeal of the AERO model lies in its striking white aesthetic and power Gigabyte cooling technology. They’ve equipped this card with its award-winning and long-standing WINDFORCE cooling system, which includes three Hawk fans and their upgraded “server-grade thermal conductive gel” to ensure temperatures remain low during those long gaming sessions. It also includes customisable RGB lighting that syncs with other components via the GIGABYTE CONTROL CENTER software, a reinforced metal back plate to prevent sagging, and a dual BIOS switch so users can easily toggle between performance and silent fan profiles based on their preferences; also a handy feature for applying your own overclocks too.
