Cinebench gave a solid score of 7.21 at stock, compared to the i7 2700k at 6.90 at stock. Once overclocked, we saw an increase up to 9.31 points, compared to 8.99 on the Sandybridge CPU.
Super PI
Super PI is a computer program that calculates pi to a specified number of digits after the decimal point—up to a maximum of 32 million. It uses Gauss–Legendre algorithm and is a Windows port of the program used by Yasumasa Kanada in 1995 to compute pi to 232 digits.
Super PI gave a slightly better result on the i7 3770k over the i7 2700k with 9.18. When overclocked, the time dropped to 7.23 minutes, giving a slight edge over the 2700k.
