Google + growth slowing already

The market research firm Experian Hitwise said that Google + visits last week declined both in the number of visits and in the average time spent using the service. This has brought about suspicions that growth may be halted, unique visitors of 179 million was down 3% from the previous week and the average time spent using the service was also down to 5 minutes 15 seconds which is a large reduction of 10%.
Google only launched its Google + service 4 weeks ago with it looking to challenge Facebook’s Social Networking crown, and after CEO Larry Page announced 10 million users on the 14th of July it would seem things are starting to go stale already. Is Google about to meet its match?
